Accelerated Reader Home Connect

Accelerated Reader is a program used at Robbins to increase reading comprehension and the love of reading.  Students are required to read a certain amount of AR books each quarter and take quizzes on each book.  The goal is to make an 85% or better on each quiz.  Did you know that your child's Accelerated Reader scores count as part of their reading grade?  You can now find out what books your child is reading as well as how they are performing on their AR quizzes!  You will receive a letter very soon about the Renaissance Home Connect website that will allow you to do just that.  All you need is an internet connection and a username and password.  You will receive the username and password when you receive the informational letter.  There is a link to Renaissance Home Connect on the top right corner of our website.  For more information, contact Meredith Nations or Michele Lofton at 221.1600.
