Mobile Opera Performs for Robbins Students

Some members of the Mobile Opera Guild performed for Robbins students at Clark Community Center on Tuesday, October 27, 2009.  Students learned proper audience behavior and exactly what an opera is and how it differs from other types of performances.  The performers also taught several vocabulary words such as bravo, bravi, brava, soprano, orchestra, and many more!  The students and teachers of Robbins Elementary thoroughly enjoyed the assembly.  Special thanks to Stacey Driskell, Carly Fulmer, and Clint Doolittle for an excellent assembly.  For more information on the Mobile Opera Guild, visit their website at http://www.mobileopera.org/.
